The Online Uirapuru Interface

The Uirapuru online interface had two buttons: one for the telepresenceportal (left); the other for the virtual portal (right). These buttonswere made of the same (but left-right reversed) image of the Amazon forest.Both images were activated by a rollover tag. When the participant movedthe cursor over them, they were temporarily replaced by a button invitingthe participant to "Click here to go to the telepresence portal"or "Click here to go to the virtual portal", respectively. Webparticipants were able to keep both portals open at once, leaving one inthe foreground and the other in the background, and toggling between them.
