The Silent Circle

In Progress

The Silent Circle is an artwork that expresses the three fundamental phases of a person's life (Youth, Maturity, Elderhood) as it orbits the Earth at an altitude of 570 km. Three separate animations, directly exposed to the harsh space environment, convey the three phases of human life through orbital insertions in 2024 (MORNING), 2025 (MIDDAY), and 2026 (MIDNIGHT). The three-year artwork matches the poetics of human life with the life cycle of the satellite, which also lasts for three years.
